Replace Nissan Key Fob Batteries

Change the battery
The key fob of your Nissan model comes with a built-in battery that eventually loses its charge. Once you have the brand new battery, you can remove the old one by turning the fob on its side and looking at the backside. There is a tiny catch that you must release by pulling it down. This will open the mechanical key from its original position inside the fob.
Insert the new battery next and make sure that it's oriented correctly. Once the battery is inserted then close the fob and click the two sides together. Check the fob's functionality after completing this step by pressing the unlock button. If everything is in good and in good working order, you're ready to enjoy the Nissan's features. It's recommended to re-program your key fob after changing the battery to ensure it's functioning properly.
